Hikaru (ひかる,ヒカル ?) is a Japanese verb meaning “to shine” (光る ?), and it is the dictionary form of the word Hikari (光 ,light?). It is also a Japanese given name that can be given to either sex and rarely used as a surname.

You guys are really good at this!

            How do you like Psyren?

I also thought of some non-fire names but got overruled by Mike, but how do you like:
            Phoenix’s Six Sigma
            Phoenix’s The Gunslinger
            Phoenix’s Psyren song
            Phoenix’s Sweet Cadence

            This is fun!

What does Psyren mean or come from?

Well I did a Google search and found out its the name of a Japanese manga. I was thinking originally that it was a respelling of Siren, which seeing as Psyren Song strongly suggests it.

Yup, just a different way to spell Siren.

I like Siafu as well. I think they are african fire ants?
I too like The Gunslinger for a boy… But of course we are thinking girl. Right?

Actually I’d love a colt as well. He’d be my prefix and would be able to show as my stock. Only issue I have with having and keeping a boy is all the money we’ve spent training and showing Frodo.

We’ll jsut have to wait til it gets here~

I like Psyren! Phoenix’s Psyren Song!

Six Sigma reminds me way too much of the business model/theory. *shudders at the idea of having to sit through that course*

Oh, we’re thinking a filly? Yeah, then Gunslinger isn’t so fitting.
Personally I prefer Siren over Psyren – spelling and spittle-wise. But either one works for “Phoenix’s (insert name here) Song.”
