I figured this would be as good a place to put it as any – I decided to change my forum name to my real first name, because why not?

Most of you would probably be able to figure it out from the signature/avatar, but I figured I’d make a thread for this anyway in case anyone else decides to change their name and wanted to make a more public announcement 😀

Wow, it confused me at first looking at my PM inbox and seeing ‘Hannah’…..and not remembering when I had ever PMed a ‘Hannah’. Then saw the icon, and realized.

I did the same thing Wampus – I looked in my PM box and wondered how I forgot messaging someone with that name, then I saw the dragon in your avatar and it dawned on me XD

Putting your name change in your signature for a bit usually rids any confusion.

I’ve had Yeral as a screen name for several years now, but I’ve never really loved it – it’s become more habit than anything else! This seemed like a good time to change my forum name here, and since a few people already know my name (and I sign all my PYO’s with it), I figured I might as well just use the one my parents gave me 😆

I changed mine too, my old one SagiAparri was actually a mess up years ago and it stuck, so I always continued using it.

Good board idea. Incase anyone was confused I used to be Misato. Avatar is still the same though but now the name matches it yay! 🙂

This was mentioned a few years back. When names are changed no one really notices… it’s when the avatars change that people start questioning.
I too, identify people by their avatar. It’s the first thing you see!
I’ve had the same avatar since I signed up here 8)

You are not allowed to change names! You people are going to mess up my PYO Excel spreadsheet. LOL! 😆

I’ve been bayoudragon for a quite a while… but when I joined WetCanvas it just kinda stuck, and I’ve been using it ever since. I sign all my PYOs with both bayoudragon and my real signature.

Same here. Although, I’ve been wanting to redo my avatar for a while. The resolution doesn’t come through right on different computers… or something… I don’t know how to fix that. :scratch:
