I wasn’t going to order the blue peal, I THOUGHT I had a blue pearl. I won this guy off ebay a few months ago. He has a medium blue eye and a light blue gem. His underside is the brighter blue/green but he has some heavy antiquing that mutes the color.
The shop description for blue peal says straw eye and gold gem.
The shop description for glacier says metallic blue eye and crystal gem.
So what the heck do I have?
You have a blue pearl. The first batch had straw eyes/jewels. They were all suppose to have straw, but someone messed up somewhere and all batches after the first have blue eyes and jewels.
So glad I got the first batch. Interesting, I just picked this guy up last night and was thinking about him and the mess up.
