A few years ago I was going to purchase a special kirin from a forum member (who doesnt want to be named) I have the male and female kirins representing my husband and I then I have two babies representing my two sons so wanted to buy another baby kirin when my husband and I adopted our little girl. When this very sweet member found out why I wanted to buy it she gifted it to me. It is a extra special baby kirin as it was a prototype with a gem in its forhead so perfect for a little girl. I was so blessed to be given such two perfect gifts. My little girl and my baby kirin. I treasure both and will never forget the kindness of this forum friend. This place is full of wonderful people. πŸ™‚

That’s so sweet, Jellyfish. Made me tear up. So happy for you and what very nice thing for that person to do. I know a special little girl I would love to adopt. My mom is a foster parent so we see many coming and going. When we are lucky they keep in touch. Wish I was in a better position to do so. Kids are such a blessing. I have 4 biologically. 3 are grown and 1 who is 10 but I would do it again in a heart beat.<3

          Thank you πŸ™‚
We had to go through two years of fostering her while waiting for adoption to go through. It was a.scary stressful two years. Worth it in the end but I am a little grayer. πŸ™‚

How nice, thank you Bodine and Jellyfish for sharing the kindness of fellow forum members! The internet seems to have become such a haven for vitriol and anonymous hate; it’s always good to be reminded that simply isn’t true for the forums here and the people that make it a great thing to be a part of. Good people and good places abound, regardless if those places are physical or digital πŸ™‚
