Dragoness: What care I for human hearts? Soft and spiritless as porridge! A faerie’s heart beats fierce and free!
Human hearts are sissyfied
not even worth the bother.
A faeries heart is dignified
moreso than my own father.Says the Faerie:
A Faeries heart is wonderful!
Wild and fierce and free!
human hearts are spiritless
in comparison to me!
Yay…I like this idea and these poems. Thank youSeptember 17, 2007 at 8:33 pm #523285i actually read every page of thos topic last night…my laughing woke up my roommate >.>

Starbreeze:
shoot for the moon; even if you miss you’ll land among the starsI was walking, out, in the night
Alone, and no one cared
an ogre I had to fight
only because I feared…
… the darknessthen I saw it, a tiny beam
twinkling in the night
flowing like a flawless stream
filled the world with light
… the moonit frightenes me, enlightenes me
still eases me and teases me
… the moonlightI craved for it, I cared for it
caressed the thought of feeling it
I needed it, it nourished me
now it just makes me feel free
… the brightnessI came across a catapult
coincidence it seemed
it made me feel as an adult
I felt as in a dream
… the dreamI sat up in the seat I made
seariously though
as I pulled the anchor, fade
was all that I thoughtI dashed through wind and dashed through clouds
dazed with all the speed
I missed the target, moon passed, shouts
of my dear soul in deedone good thing came, although I missed
alarmingly I landed
I landed among the stars, and kissed
the dream I had abandonedlong story comes to a good end

September 18, 2007 at 1:13 pm #523293Arlla: “…he that breaks a thing to find out what it is has left the path of wisdom.”
Inquisitiveness is really nice
to see in our own kind.
But those who break things pay the price
and seem so out of mind. The ones who take good things apart
just because they can.
But fail to make it work again
why is it always man?September 18, 2007 at 1:15 pm #523294Good one!!! 😀
September 18, 2007 at 1:30 pm #523295Thanks! we got past farts and stinkyness and now I feel out of my league. Peoples quotes are to serious. 😆
September 18, 2007 at 1:49 pm #523296I don’t know if we are supposed to make something out of our own quotes…but at least this isn’t too serious, Ski
“Sometimes the Dragon Wins”
The Tale of the Cowardly Dragon
There once was a cowardly dragon
Whose muscles were sadly all saggin’.
‘Till a spry little man
Said, “Help you I can”,
And handed the dragon a flagon.“Drink this”, said the man to the dragon.
“‘Twill stop all the towns tongues from waggin’.
Just swallow it down
Don’t bother to frown”.
But by then the poor dragon was gaggin’.“This drink”, said the man, name of Robin,
“Will set all the girls hearts to throbbin'”.
And the dragon was vain
Even though he was plain
And immediately started in joggin’.In no time at all he was fit.
Alongside the road he did sit.
Then along came a knight
Who wanted to fight.
And the knight, he got in the first hit.The battle was long and hard fought.
The dragon did just as he ought…
Cracked open the armor
Turned the knight to a farmer
And said, “What a good thing I’ve wrought.”The dragon returned to the town
To find he’d been heaped with reknown.
The princess, on her knees
Said, “Marry me please!”
His cowardly past he’d lived down.September 18, 2007 at 1:50 pm #523297Ski, not a chance!!! You are a master of poetry!!! 😉
