Hey all! I posted up my first PYO, actually first ever attempt to paint any figurine type. Obviously not an artist. Its dark turquoise all hand painted by brush so no awesome blending like all you great airbrushers out there. But anyways I had a little trouble with antiquing in particular, I kept wiping off the other paint had to retouch alot of spots. Am I suposed to put a clear coat on first then antique? Any advice before I do my next piece would be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks!

Hannah’s post disappeared, but yeah, put a clear coat, let it dry completely (I sometimes wait 3 days), then antique.

Found your gallery (the date is off by one year…). I love what you did! Ver neat and tidy, and with lovely contrasts.

Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

This is a double thread, Hannah’s post is actually on the other one
