I dunno if there will be a ‘cake’ per se. It’s going to be a non-traditional wedding.
No cake. 9 course Ukrainian meal. Late wedding with mini-reception on site.
Borscht, varenyky, holubtsi, kovbasa, nalysnyky, ham, turkey, cornmeal, dill buns (can’t remember the name), mushroom sauce… those are the important ones anyways.

I plan on spending more money on the food than the rest of the wedding. Best part of it is it’ll mostly be Grandma’s cooking. MMM HUMMM..

I think we are all a little jealous of that meal, anyway… don’t know if that’s what you meant or not!
My wedding will probably be small too…. when I can afford to have it. I want to get married but can’t afford the ceremony. Or any of it… 😆
