Just thought I’d post this for anyone interested in martial arts. Also so I can show off my kids *looks off innocently*

Those are cool. The most I have watched was in Karate Kid. Do you kids ever do tornaments like Karate Kid? I told my sister, she needs to get my nephew into Karate or Gymnastics.

They do not do fighting like in KK Although they could. 😆 They do spar to demonstrate technique.
Chelsea and Ethan both started out with gymnastics and than switched to karate. They both liked it much better. They have black belts in two different styles.

Very cool. I really have no idea what Kururunfa or Heiku mean but I’m guessing it has something to do with the movements being demonstrated (maybe their names?)? My little brother did Karate for several years and I went to his yearly tournaments, but he fought in matches and never performed solos.

They are the names of the KATA or form each one is doing yes They do sparring as well we just don’t have the videos posted 😆
