June 19, 2007 at 6:29 am #590407What a great album! (Saw some familiar faces in there, too. π ) I liked the freckled gold-and-purple PYO–neat idea, there–but the deep blue, red, and purple one really took my breath away. The bright blue freckles on those purple and red wings were fabulous! You really have a knack for color. Thanks for posting these photos!

Does picture cher008 have a name for it? Your kids are so cute. That one was a comission, I labeled her “Iris” on her base. My favorite flowers are irises. The scratcher is my personal masterpiece. I love him, love him, love him!!

The scratcher is my second favorite of your pieces. The Spectral still takes the cake.
June 19, 2007 at 2:40 pm #590411There will NEVER be another dragon done in the color of that spectral because he’s much too close to the violet flame color. A personal accident on my part, the most i’ll ever do is perhaps another pyo in that color for myself. The scratcher was what I was working on before the stink over my style. He’s actually 85 percent brushwork believe it or not…he took FOREVER to do but he was worth it!

(why did i call you ski earlier???i know you are not ski and i know i’m not old XD )I let him go to a personal friend (she called dibs on him LONG before he was done), If she wants to post that she has him, she can, but I won’t be doing others in that color except for my own. There are only going to be two of him, EVER. He was a really special piece and a pain in the rump to paint. I will be putting an earth colored pyo similar to the one pictured with the scratcher up on ebay sometime soon. Wanting to do an earth colored muse as well but haven’t seen the little guy in person so no promises yet on that.

I see, that is understandable. I reallly decided that I want you to paint me a scratcher. I have some colors in mind(darn it, i was really loving that one)
I still need to get my cammera first, but the minute i do, i am going to contact you about that. It i make a color sketch of what I am looking at wanting and give it to you, could you use that to paint a scratcher(this would be when i do get some money for it after i get my cammera)June 19, 2007 at 4:47 pm #590417π Technically I’ve given up repainting but every now and then I trade or help someone out with a broken piece or a color idea they really want. I’ve repaired and restored a couple as well now too. Not really selling them in large scale or doing repaints for straight sale.

June 19, 2007 at 11:40 pm #590420That would be the Royal Queen Kashka Leshea Maddox the One And Only, who happens to be my hubby’s cat and the Supreme Ruler of the House. π π π I call her the “Royal Pain in The Butt”. She gets jealous of me and will literally push me away from Chris if she thinks I’m getting to much attention. π―
