Oh, new kitty!! She is so cute. Mine used to be a total freak, but now that he’s older, he’s just lazy. I still love to squish him though. π

Another easy toy is made from old socks. Stuff one down in the foot of another and then tie a knot so it won’t come out. Instanst plaything with a tail. My SIL’s cats love them!
June 9, 2008 at 4:35 pm #712118What a cute kitty.
I WANT A KITTY but my dog is a cat chaser even at 12 3/4 years old so NO kitty with him and to me he is worth giving up the thought of a kitty to have him as long as possible.
June 9, 2008 at 5:11 pm #712119She’s beautiful, congrats! π
June 9, 2008 at 5:16 pm #712120Awww! So sweet! The cat my family had when I was growing up was interested in getting outside, until he managed to sneak out. My parents noticed he had gotten out and found him clinging to the outside of the screen door scared to death! I think the noise from the street did it, or just one large truck went through (we’re near an intersection, so vehicles breaking). He never tried to sneak out again! π

But I have a malti-poo who gets very lonely when I am not at home and well after much thought and research I just bought a rag-doll kitten. I am very excited but not to sure what to expect with an indoor kitty. I am going tomorrow to buy her all her goodies and I pick her up from her breeder next sunday. I am excited and nervous all at the same time lol
She is a beautiful cat BUT you made a mistake in the post. Humans do not own cats cats own humans. I hope you have many happy years together

She’ll get darker as she ages; I have 2 lynx pointed American Bobtails; 1 seal point, the other chocolate point. He came to us as a kitten, and he was all creamy white except the very edges of his ears, his nose, and very faintly his stripes on his legs. He’s now 4 and quite dark. It’s kinda cool to see how they change. I just love the blue eyes!
And Whims’ very most favorite toy is a crinkly ball. We got him the mylar ones, but he’ll play with tinfoil balls, too. He plays fetch. He’ll initiate a game, and will bring the ball back right to your feet and drop it. Good luck with her!June 10, 2008 at 5:43 am #712124DH’s cat is part rag doll, and he is the neediest noisiest member of the four-legged family π . He talks all the time, meows in his sleep even, yaps at you when he is hungry, tired or because he walked π . And, as was already said, dont close a door, not just the bathroom door, ANY door, if you go to bed and he is not in the room, he will pick at the door o get in if he is in, e will pick to get out PITA. He is more dog than the dogs π
Enjoy π
