it does look nicely detailed and polished. most small pewter figurines look like the artist only spent a short day trying to sculpt it.
June 12, 2007 at 7:12 am #583107Ooo that one looks nice! I’m use to seeing kind of poorly done knights and horses.
Is that the only one or is there a set of horses and knights?June 12, 2007 at 2:32 pm #583108Kujacker wrote:Ooo that one looks nice! I’m use to seeing kind of poorly done knights and horses.
Is that the only one or is there a set of horses and knights? There’s a whole line of them. I guess I could place an order. Hmmm… would you think “knights on horses” or “knights” or a combination?
June 12, 2007 at 3:55 pm #583109gryphon!! Man I need to trick someone into buying that for my birthday! LOL
June 12, 2007 at 6:01 pm #583110It’s really pretty in person. Sorry my pic turned out so bright. It looks like bronze.
June 14, 2007 at 9:19 pm #583111I just got a bunch more of the Topland stuff in today and have updated my web site. Check it out! I love the Fairy Lovers and the Bastet, and the Robot Skull in the Gothic section! They are so great! Woo hoo!
I’m going to have to get those for me. And the Fairy Eolande too. All I have for me right now is the Rearing Unicorn, and I love him. π
June 14, 2007 at 9:56 pm #583112I like those skulls. Someday, I will have to order one.
June 15, 2007 at 7:18 pm #583113I care a few of their items too, never seen the griffin hmmm…
June 18, 2007 at 11:46 pm #583114I now have some of the Knights and Knights on Horses in stock. They are really nice with a lot of detail. Some of the horses are really fierce-looking too. Check it out and let me know what you think. π

I’m not sure why… but those knights look really scrawny and kind of .. lost? β But I like the color and design. Reminds me of my fantastic pewter piece from Germany (post picture later, when not at work.) π

They are a lot different than the chunky pieces I usually carry, but some people said they were interested and liked the first photo I posted, so I thought I’d try them. After getting them in I’ve decided that I really like them and will have a market for them at conventions, if not online. I think people who are really into historical weapons and armor (and maybe horses) will really like some of them. And they are awesome in person. It would be cool to have a couple standing guard around a Windstone dragon or something, like they’re sentries. *shrugs* I just thought of that. Hmm…
