I’m so glad he was able to have a full recovery and didn’t lose any vision–and most of all, keep a good attitude through it all 🙂 You must be quite proud of him!
Thankies! We’re all very proud of him – and he’s very careful about wearing his “brain bucket” when needed 😀

WOW he sure is active! Those are some GREAT action shots of him. I agree, he is both a handsome young man and looks as if he never had surgery.
I can’t say I blame the scout master (or his parents?) for not wanting to call an ambulance. Man! I rode in one once….20 minutes…and no one adminstered medicine, did anything but talk to me and take my vitals while I was strapped down…didn’t even have the siren going……over $900. 😮 😮 😮 I about keeled over when the bill came. Luckily it didn’t have to come out of our pockets.I’m glad your nephew didn’t let his accident strike a fear of sports into him. XD 🙂
