Oh, Mipa….I did forget to mention, I was sooo depressed over one of my auctions a while back that I ALMOST stopped painting them! (Even though in my HEART I knew I would not because I love them SO much!) 😥 BUT!….my fiance’ TOLD me I had better not that they are gorgeous! And people dont know that their missing…yea well…I dont know what to say bout that one LMAO, HE tried! HAHA! I at least put mine up for at least 50 to 55 to cover (if it does sell) my time into it..WHICH still may not be sufficient! I just want you to know…I feel the pain with you. 😀 **CHIN UP GF!!**

Yup, re-read mine above I added to it…..Should explain a little about it. AND your right….they will come back for more! Just like this commision Wolf I have below me. I didnt make SQUAT off of the auction, but she came around ONE week later had just LOVED the one I had done (from the auction) and wanted me to commision that WOLF! It DOES HAPPEN! 😉 AND she told me when she gets more money built up shes coming back for another PYO! 😆 I guess it just takes time, and the “right” person to buy JUST one from you and realize how much MORE beautiful these are in person….and PICTURES SUK! 😀
Ohhh…failed to mention….the LADY EVEN TIPPED ME!!! **fainted** 😯 Has anyone here ever get tipped from a commision!?!?! I nearly DIED when I got her PayPal payment! 😉 So, we never know whats going to happen….AND that Lady…because of how sweet she was, made me change my entire outlook, and not be so depressed about them not going for much, because in the FINAL END….we WILL profit.. 😉

Thanks for the support– I think I may raise the price a bit so at least a make a couple bucks for my time(just like you said)– I think I probably lost money on this one– between ebay and paypal etc… oh well. I did my best and thats what matters– plus it did sell so I can buy another!

OOoOoOOO!!!! Girl PASS A glass of THAT on OVER here! LOL! You know what, anything for a friend, even though we are just over the computer LOL, I still feel like this is “FAMILY” 😉 😀 Yea, between listing fees and final value fees…yea maybe a few bucks….OH well! We LIVE and LEARN, right? Just do like I am doing…start them out at around 50-60, depending on the amount of time you put into it so at least it will cover the auction fees 😀 I EVEN put that clause in my listing (just a tip 😉 )and there is NO money lost at all, and you can get another to paint EVEN better than the last! We all ESPECIALLY ME..LOL…I KNOW get better at them with EACH one I do. 😉
Unfortunatly to me it was a weird color combo, and it didn’t work for me. But like everyone else said..Take this as a chance to buy another and have fun painting a new one! 😆

😥One of Water’s beautiful gem kirins went for $40 recently. It happens, mipa. It’s not a good price, but now you have money for another kirin that might sell for more.
I will tell you that it takes a little while. Once you become known, you will have better results. Im sorry it didn’t sell well 🙁 I lost money on some of my first ones. Water has been selling on Ebay for quite a while and has lots of fans, here and on other sites. Just give it some time. Who knows, it may have just been that that particular peice didn’t appeal to folks. Dont give up.

I must agree about Water….that was and is the ONLY explaination I can come up with for hers selling for SO much. Which is QUITE ok….she deserves it!! Shes worked for it…and DANGIT I AM SLOOOOOWLY working my way up there too LOL 😆

Well, that and her detailing, which is amazing. I dont remember reading you auction, but lots of times its how the auction reads. It has to flow. Also, if its loooong, most wont read it and will just pass it by.
Alot of the watchers are us. We like to see what folks get for their PYOs.

I know, that was the first…well second one that had the MOST watchers LOL….I do the same thing LOL. YES, Waters detailing is amazing, I have 2 of her pieces, and LOVE them! they are just…WOW! 😯 😀

Yup, I have a re-painted scratching dragon (WOW), and a griffin (the maccaw/black leopard she did)that WAS supposed to be an X-Mas GIFT LMAO I decided to keep it and make them something else 😉 😆 . I tooo am waiting to save some money so I can get one of her dragons as well.
