Very pretty! 😀 I really like how you did the fur.
Dry brushing the metallics on was a good idea.

Thanks everyone!! So is dry brushing what it’s called? I’ll remember that!!

This Kirin was definitely a lot easier to paint than my muse! I think I will get a PYO unicorn to paint for Chloe next…I’m thinking pink pastels, or other pastel-like colors. I also want to paint the PYO wolf, keeper, dragon, and griffin. I think I might start collecting some dragons in the near future, but I tend to be really picky about the dragons that I like. I also want to get the spotted griffins first, and a kirin family (either the retired ones or a new color set if they come out!) Any non-dragon sculpts will come before the dragons.

Question…What is it like to paint a keeper and dragon? The look like they require a lot of detailing. Are they as hard as the muse?

Wow, eaglefeather! I’ve got to ditto the compliments on that kirin’s fur. It’s beautiful.
Personally, I think the muse is about the easiest PYO to paint. I’m not too fond of the dragons with their smooth scales, but it’s different for everybody.
