This is my very first PYO (character inspired colors, obviously). 😉 I’ve never painted on anything other than canvas before so this was a bit of a challenge. It still needs a little more work.
That looks great Dragoneer! I like the bold color choices and the white ridge scales and horns really set off the whole piece! Bravo on your first Pyo with many more to come I’m sure 🙂
Awesome job! I like the eye color choice too. They pop next to that red!
Love baby kirins, safari poads, mini keepers, and anything BLUE, BLUE, and, oh yes, BLUE.

Thanks! Figured I’d jump right in and go with bold colors for this first pyo. 😉 I’m glad you like the hair color choice. I felt like if I didn’t incorporate the hair color the PYO would lose a bit of “character”. No pun intended. 🙂 He might need more purple. Maybe on the tail? It seems like there’s too much red.
How cute! Looks like I’m not the only one who finds his white ridge/scales really nice. It really draws attention to his face, and he looks like he enjoys the attention 🙂 I also very much like the detail put into the scales on his neck and going down his tummy.
Purple/blue and yellow/gold just go so well together <3 Great work!

It looks like you have some nice shading going on with the red. I’m not sure what purple on his tail would add (it depends on application & pattern). It’s hard to say. In times like these, I meditate on ideas with the figure sitting in front of me because it’s such a pain to undo something that you end up not liking.
