July 29, 2011 at 3:19 am #852276I like etruscan’s idea – Sunflower! It fits perfectly, and the random little brown scales remind me of seeds ^^
I actually love the colors you used for the griffin! The patterning on his hip is an excellent start – I bet you could expand that to bring out the design a bit more, and it would look stunning!

Plantain, Sunflower, Sunspot, Marigold so on and so forth. Or you could pick names from books, shows, myths and other things you like. The feather work on the griffon turned out pretty 🙂

I giggled because that’s exactly what I named my (only) yellow Keeper XD He’s in my signature in the middle there! In no way am I trying to say not to name it that, I just thought of him immediately when I saw this yellow keeper!
