😆 😆 😆
Naw… I call it cruel and unusual punishment! ::snickers!::
::hugs her Dragon Cowpie::
You know… I wonder if this little bugger has hind legs in there somewhere… she’s curled up so tightly…. 😀
February 8, 2007 at 6:02 am #536988I’m sure she has hind legs – they just don’t show. 🙂

Unfortunately I haven’t been able to snap a picture of it yet because as soon as I’m in range of her she’ll all over me asking for attention.
February 8, 2007 at 6:36 am #536991Aww, lady, your kittie is so cute! (and healthy looking…mine’s been so sick 😥 )
That’s strange the emerald mothers go for less…but good, because if I ever get the mother coiled, I like the emeralds best too. I wish she came in ruby!!February 8, 2007 at 8:02 am #536992Greater Basilisk wrote:Emerald coiled mothers are the cheapest of the three available colors, lady. They sell for about half of what peacocks go for.
I’m sure they did, but I’m predicting they won’t anymore. I bet if one popped up, quite a few people would dive for it and the bidding would probably get pretty high. They are pretty rare as well, so the high price tag will probably stick for a long while.
It seems like once people talk about things a bit in the forum (and many members have professed want of the emerald coiled mother), a lot of excitement is generated for it, and people you don’t even expect take interest.
Edited because I just read Ski’s post about this very thing.

Seems somewhat true. Maybe not everyone, but probably close 🙂
I want the sculpt in whatever color I can afford, which looks like with the sky rocketing prices lately, won’t happen. If enough interest is generated in the sculpt, maybe Melody will make a limited production batch *hopes*February 8, 2007 at 8:50 pm #536993Hmm, Lokie, you-ve got a point. Now that half a dozen people are on the lookout they probably will fetch better prices.

You would figure that if the emerald coiled mother is harded to find, so more than likely being in higher demand, that it would cost more.
February 9, 2007 at 7:26 pm #536995You’d figure, yeah, but I remember quite distinctly that peacock mothers easily fetch $120, $150 or more while the emeralds only sold for $70 or $80. I watch those auctions to see how much mine are worth. 🙂
