Beautiful job on the Keeper so far! 😀 The colors work great together. I want a Keeper to paint too! *whines*

Made some progress… This one is taking a ton of time. I’m layering the colors to give it more depth.
I’m using lots of copper, bronze, and some gold.
I think I’m going to tone down the blue. I tried a brighter blue layer and it drowns out the rest of the body.

Thze tail and wings are absolutely beautiful. I do agree that you might want to tone down the blue on the chest, though.

Ok, I toned down the blue and darkened the stripes on his neck…
Should I tone the blue down more? Where?

I’m trying to get him done before we leave for the lake tomorrow. As soon as I tweak him to where I like him, the finishing should go pretty quick.

I love this dragon. The striping and the blue turned out so well. There are so many talented people here. 😀 And I am so broke 🙁 But it’s still great to admire the view 😉

Oooh, I like him a lot. I like the toned down blue and the enhanced stripes as well. It’s a nicer balance than before 🙂
