The colors are reminding me of a boa constrictor now. The base coat color was too dull, so I antiqued it with gold metalic. The blue belly part is pearlized frosted blue. The darker parts are a really dark brown. I didn’t think it would be that dark, but it really sets well with the gold and blue.
I’m hoping I can get him finished this weekend, but I really have been neglecting the ponies and the farrier is coming on Monday 😯
I need to put in some time and get the friskies out again. My farrier gets cranky when they act like buttheads!

Thanks! I didn’t get to work on him at all this weekend! But had a great time with the ponies!

Everyone loves Frodo!
I have turned down many an offer for him. He’s a special guy. Sadly though, if his nose doesn’t get better, I may breed him to the two mares this year and geld him. Turn him into a child’s pony. He’d be happier that way. Only having goodies two times a year would make anyone cranky! 😆

Same thing. He’s physically better, but because he still has the nose bumps, I can’t show him. Well I can’t expect to show and win.
I’m hoping Frodo Jr. will be of stallion quality. Then I can actually have my own prefix as a standing stallion.
