I figured out how to get video on YouTube…so I had to show you a live version of the new baby.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MzEAXFsYIoI also posted my TMNT collection video.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32qkDYnnUnQ Was a test to see if I could load to the net and viola! Too bad I don’t have any PYOs to paint and show you how I do it because I could so do tuturials now.I might post a video of images from my werewolf book if folks are interested.

July 21, 2008 at 10:08 pm #724376My back is better (was thrown out) but I get such headaches listening to him scream constantly. I don’t know what to do half the time. I try just about everything but he still cries and cries. I don’t know if he has an actual case of “colic” because he doesn’t usually scream for 3-5 hours straight like they say colicy babies do…he falls asleep after a couple hours of it. And sometimes he is quiet and yet awake…but most of the time if he’s awake he is screaming.
July 21, 2008 at 10:16 pm #724377It could be anumber of things. Have you called your pediatrician? Is he on formula or breastmilk? are you nursing or bottle feeding? Is he spitting up? Is he passing gas? Have you tried to give him a pacifier?

July 21, 2008 at 11:33 pm #724381July 21, 2008 at 11:46 pm #724382Oh he is so cute even when he is fussy! I must have missed earlier that he has clubbed feet. I met a three month old who has clubbed feet when I was in Iowa City visiting my sister-in-law and niece. Do they know what causes it?
July 22, 2008 at 1:00 am #724383Oh that pouty face….I just wanted to pick him right up! 😆 😀 He’s a cutie!
😯 @ your TMNT collection. That’s pretty amazing.
July 22, 2008 at 2:25 am #724384asinnamon: He is formula fed since I am still having to take blood thinners (Warfarin). He does take a pacifier. He does spit up if I feed him over 3 oz. at one feeding. He is currently eatting 3 oz. every 3 hours but now I am giving him 3 oz. every two hours just to see if maybe he’s just hungry and cries because of that. He is VERY gassy and using normal bottles…so may need bottle fillers to help get air out…I’m gonna try those next. His formula is ready-made, not concentrate or mixed for now, but we plan to switch him to a powder soon that requires mixing after I do see the pediatrition again. They say (when I call, because my pediatrition is 2 hours away) they say just feed him when he wants to eat and try to burp well etc etc. What do you think? Is there a such thing as overfeeding?
Necron: There are a couple Casey Jones…the original and the newest movie version…they’re just sorta hidden behind other guys. Sorry not all of them can be seen, they are so crowded!
Thanks everyone for seeing Nicky and giving your best wishes. Good news is he should be able to get his casts off next week for good I am hoping…then he’ll be put on a brace or plastic braces…he may be too young for a full-out brace. Normally, clubfoot cases don’t get out of casts until 2-3 months and then get the brace so braces may be too big for him right now but they’re thinking of something to use in the mean time.
July 22, 2008 at 2:47 am #724385Watergazer, ask your pediatrician for Levin Drops for your little guy. My Sean was a screamer, too and it turned out that he needed a little help with getting his digestive tract in sync. The Levsin helps elimate ‘gut’ spasms and gets everything working together… he’s an awfully cute little guy, I’m sorry he’s not more comfy. Good luck!

July 22, 2008 at 5:10 pm #724386I would try a gas medication first. Mylicon is a good one as well as Little Tummies and both are over the counter. When our babies were infants they went thru the cranky phase and as soon as we added the gas drops to each bottle, they got better. Start out with the lowest dose and you can increase it from there up to double. Not sure how old he is, about 4-5 weeks? I can’t remember how many ounces they are suposd be taking at that age.
Pediatricians tend to start with the ‘easiest’ thing first, like burping and feeding. One thing you will learn is that sometimes the world the pediatricians live in and reality are two different places.
