This one was done in mostly pastels. I did a base coat in acrylic, layers of the pastel dust & matte sealer. The details(nose & nails) are also acrylic. I did a small amount of antiquing on the wings only and finished off with a wash of gold interference. This time I cut the interference with antiquing fluid and water and it worked alot better for me….

I really like this one and haven’t decided what to do with it yet. I do think the pastels are easier then paints, maybe just because I’m new to it??

I think she will sell for a good $. I think people like the natural looking wolves the best.

WOW… deja vu! πŸ˜€ she looks a lot like mine did in the first couple of layers! πŸ˜†

            No worries… I don’t care one way or the other… just creepy… I thought for a second… is that mine!? I haven’t posted wolf pics in a while… πŸ˜†

            Looking great so far! πŸ˜€

Lol, it looks like you two were using the same colors of paints. Other than that it does look awesome, just wish I could see the golden interferance on it. I think it could sell well on EBay.

Well… if she’s using Alphacolor pastels… we did use the same colors then! πŸ˜†

It’s really the dark color by the eyes… that’s what reminds me of the wolf i did. πŸ˜€

Any similarities were certainly not intentional. The pastels I used are Art Pro Earth Colors. She is really very buff colored, I wish the interference would show up! Can’t wait to start on the griffin!!

              Wow, I love it!

While hiding somewhere in my head I'm on the lookout for white oriental dragons! Please let me know if you know of any available. Thank you!
