November 23, 2008 at 5:32 am #714964I also like role models and hellboy 2, even with the pans labyrinth guy’s influence, which was not bad, just so different.

The violence in Pan’s Labyrinth really floored me and while I watched it once, I don’t think I could watch it a second time. And I still can’t decide if she died or if she really was the princess and just went home…either way, the fact that that self serving bastard could shoot a 9 year old child in cold blood really hurt my mind. I was very pleased they killed him.

November 23, 2008 at 2:47 pm #714966thats exactly what made me respect Pans Laby so much. Of course we could have done with less blood (and I hate the bottle scene), but it was real life violence as found out there at that time. And how it really could be. Now and then.
And the creatures are of an ugly beauty, fairytale and yet flesh eating, something that makes them very real.
IMONovember 24, 2008 at 2:49 am #714967I really liked Pan’s Labyrinth. Although it was rather, greusome and I don’t recommend you eat while watching it! LOL
November 24, 2008 at 9:18 pm #714968Saw Quantum of Solace this past weekend. Man, Daniel Craig is a hottie!! π No itty bitty swim trunks scene this time though. π
November 24, 2008 at 9:22 pm #714969ok there is this amazing movie called “The Fall” it is b rated never went to theaters but it is the best movie i have seen in years. the movie is mostly about storytelling and the visual aesthetics are amazing there was absolutely no computer graphics. it’s my most recommended movie if you want artistic inspiration.

Did you see it in 3-D? I want to go, but will see Twilight first.
November 24, 2008 at 11:08 pm #714972I saw Bolt and Twilight this weekend. I loved both. Even went out and bought two of the 4 books after watching Twilight. I dug em. I love hot, pale, skinny, young vampire guys.

Don’t forget sparkly. πOh yes, sparkly, too!! π And “hot” was just a description… “cold” would have been more accurate. π

And the sparkly part was kinda cheesy, but it was short, so not that bad. π Of course, I hadnt read the book so wasnt expecting it.
