      Hey Susie/Pam/Melody:
With the recent renewed interest in the Mother Griffin Gargoyle sculpt (which I’d never seen before), do you think she’ll ever be produced again in the standard Stone production color and stocked in the Store again?

She’s not in the ‘Permanently Retired’ or ‘Postponed Production’ sections, so are the latest pieces on eBay just left overs only and when they’re gone that’s it?

I’d LOVE to get one as a standard Stone version, like the other Gargoyle pieces – She’s Wonderful!
Any chance the Mother Griffin Gargoyle will make a come back? 🙂

The Mother Griffin Gargoyle in the standard stone color was retired in 2001 – long before we had a website. We cannot make them in that color again. Melody might choose another color for them, we do not know.

I had actually been wondering, what are the legal implications behind “retiring” something? Are there any, or is it more for consistency when the term is used? (So that “retired” doesn’t ever accidentally become “might return some day” ?)

That said, I like it’s a lovely sculpt also. I’m sure it’d look great with an alternate colour scheme! I think it looks amazing with the various colours we’ve seen so far, it seems to be very flexible.
