SOLD.
A long, long time ago, I bought a partially repainted mother – I forget what had been wrong with her in the first place. I had these visions of grandeur and found out, not once, but twice, that I’m not suited to repaint such a big sculpt (yes, I tried two different things).
I’m not going to ask a lot, because a) I didn’t pay very much at the time and b) between my efforts to strip down the repaint + whatever original paint was left underneath, she’s a wee bit of a mess.
From the color of the eyes, I gather she was a peacock. No damage (that I can tell) to the actual sculpt. Has the jobs in acrylic paint I had started. The felt pad comes with it, but it was a mess to begin with (stained) and removing it left it somewhat stiff.
How about, what? 20$? + shipping (I’m in Canada). Offer me something; I know quite a few people here who can give back this lady her dignity. I’ll trade for a blank PYO too – keeper, kirin, phoenix.
