April 15, 2011 at 7:56 am #842553OH, very nice Moonwillow. I love his paws/talons. The colors are real rich what type of paint do you use? Do you add interference to the paint at all? Glad to see you back and that your feeling better. 🙂
April 15, 2011 at 12:56 pm #842559Wow! Those wings are just stunning! Beautiful work, I really love it (except the eye color, sorry). Glad you’re feeling better. 🙂
April 15, 2011 at 2:39 pm #842562Wow! I love your style and color choices. All of your pyos are absolutely stunning :).
April 15, 2011 at 7:05 pm #842583Thanks crowfeather. I’m glad to be feeling better too! I use a lot of different kinds of paints, all of them are acrylic. I do use interference paints and pearl pigments with a clear coat over them to highlight area of the statue. I love metallics as you can probably tell 😉
April 15, 2011 at 7:07 pm #842584Hi Adaneth 🙂 Thanks so much. I actually didn’t plan on using the Lavender eyes until he end. I had another pair that just didn’t fit right. It’s too bad because they were really cool. But in person the Lavender eyes look pretty good, I think anyway. They work with the purplish/lavender highlights on his body 🙂 And thanks, I’m glad to be feeling better too 😉
