Although I´ve now been painting PYO for quite a while I have only ever done 1 acrylic painting on canvas before.
This is my second one. It´s 20 x 20 cm and was done after a picture of my sponsored romanian stray dog Benjen.
The reason for the pic is rather sad. Benjen died very suddenly a few weeks back of an infection just a few days before he had a chance to travel to the new family that wanted to adopt him. This hit me rather hard because he is my first sponsored dog who did not make it to a loving home 🙁
So I felt the need to somehow let him live on with this painting. And I´m must say I´m quite happy with how it turned out.

I´m currently trying to sell it on the forum of BrunoPet, the association that manages Benjens shelter in romania, so I can donate a bit extra for the other dogs there 🙂

That’s a lovely picture of the doggy! That is too bad he didn’t make it but you made a nice memorial for him anyway!

Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!

I was not able to sell the portrait of Benjen so far. For now I think I will keep it as a reminder of him 🙂
But a member of the BrunoPet Forum saw it and commissioned me to paint her dog.
I think it turned out pretty well. Acrylic on a 20×20 cm canvas.

XD What lovely art! Needle felting is a fascinating medium. I especially like the unicorn. And your acrylic canvas paintings are quite good! Have you considered expanding further into that area?
