I came across two tiny color pencil sketches I did almost a year ago. Kind of made me go snooping around to see if I could find any other drawings. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find much since I hadn’t done any serious drawing or writing in close to 8 years. And back then, I either threw the work out or gave it away as gifts because I use to sketch and write daily so I never expected I’d have a lack of work laying around. Oh well 😆

Anyways, here are the two sketches I found. They’re only about 2 inches:

And about 8 years ago, I did this piece as a birthday gift for my older brother. He liked Super Heroes, so I had him model and I made him into Superman.

And a working sketch of my little sister as Batgirl:

I never finished it but now I’m thinking I should. It is pretty awful but everyone has to start somewhere 😛 I had intended to draw my entire family as Super Hero characters and maybe someday I’ll actually continue with that plan.

Anyone else who sketches/draws for fun have any stuff hanging around they want to share with the forum? I image there must be at least a few of us who draw or sculpt but don’t publish our work on Deviant Art or similar websites. Don’t be shy, share 🙂

I doodled a lot when I was younger, usually in the classes I was supposed to be taking notes in. 🙂 None of my drawings are anywhere as good as what you posted, Loki. There’s probably a reason why they’re hidden away in a box somewhere. 😀

Those are so great! Thanks for sharing! Your 2″ sketches are really detailed 😯 but I can’t single them out ’cause I love all these. I think the superhero famiy idea is fun 🙂

Koishii, that is a very interesting Dragon.

I’m sure your class doodles are much better than my own. When I was bored in class, I’d usually just create a simple form/shape and draw it repeatedly on a piece of paper. Or sometimes, I’d just write a word over, and over again (one that would just popped in my head and not leave). Never anything worth looking at 😆

                  Thanks, Ski.

That’s a nice action sketch, Dracomancer. I have difficulty drawing dogs in action poses 😳 Maybe because my model, my Beagle, Dice, is usually in the sleeping pose and offers little for reference 😕
