As I was the last winner of the pay-it-forward raffle, I’m pleased to present the start of the midsummer pif raffle!  The contest is open to everyone whom as of the posting of this topic are forum members.  The prize is a mystery!  It will be revealed to the winner when they receive it in the mail.

To enter, please PM me with the title “midsummer raffle”; do NOT email me.  I will be accepting entries for the next two weeks.

      Good luck to everyone!

Very cool, Rylorien.  (and no, I didn’t realize that could be taken as a very poor pun in response to “midsummer” until I started typing)  I still need that rolling eyes emoji.  😉

Everyone needs a rolling eyes emoji!  There’s just too much silliness in life to not have one. ^_^

This is the first I heard about it – how does this raffle work? Any different from a regular one? What is the pay it forward element?

Hi Kiera,PIF-Pay-It-Forward.we do this in friendship, kindness, and just to make someone happy. You can either choose a person that you believe has been extra kind or having an awful time in life or as an open raffle like Rylorian is doing. We choose a member or draw raffle style,we send anything Windstone related to them that you wish and ask that they continue on PIF and so on and so on.We are shooting for a year as our first goal non stop with hopes for it to continue on.We are doing month to month If we all do good deeds out of the goodness of our hearts we help make our beautiful world a better place.

I’ll be PM’ing you shortly to ask for your address.  Thank you to all whom participated! I was pleasantly surprised at the number of entrants.  I was a little concerned people wouldn’t participate since I’m not the most well-known or prevalent of our forum-goers but I was happy to see the turnout.

Oh Wow! Thanks so Much! This pick-me-up comes at a Great Time! I’ve been having one of those “What else can go wrong?” type of days. Nothing bad or catastrophic, just bunches and bunches of little irritating problems with the train, the Metro, my computer, lost time, client issues at the last minute, etc…

I’ll post my mystery prize once I receive it and I’ll set up the next PIF raffle soon. 🙂
