Mice!

These are the cutest candy idea I’ve ever seen. We made a bunch of these last night before some idiot hit a power pole and took out our power.

Today I plan to make a bunch of chocolate ones.

To make:

Ingredients

Marachino cherries w/ stems
Hershey’s Kisses or Hugs
Almond Bark, chocolate or white
Peanuts

Assembly

Drain and dry cherries
melt Almond Bark
Dip cherries, place on waxed paper or other nonstick surface, put on Kiss, take peanut halves and put on behind head for ears. Repeat until you run out of cherries. Then take gel icing, we used red for the white mice, and plan on white and chocolate icing for the chocolate ones.

Let set, and then have fun!

The ones in the picture used Hugs, and the Peppermint Kisses, both taste very good. I am going to use the Cherry Cordial Kisses for the next batch.

Anyway, I thought these were so fun, and easy, and perhaps some of you would like to do them with your kids.

Oh man, that looks tasty… and absolutely adorable! Reminds me of the eclair mice we used to get at this French bakery a bazillion years ago… they had licorice tails that I remember tasted like rubber. Now I’m craving white chocolate.

Yep, they are, Made about 70 in chocolate today. So now I have a little army of chocolate mice! LOL!

Yeah…I wasn’t sure what to think when I saw mice in the food section…. 😯 😆 but then I HAD to come and see! They are very cute!
