I *try* to keep track of breeding lines. If I am lucky, I might know who the grandparents of a bird are. It is really hard, since right now we are having an outbreak of “splash” pigeons, and they more or less all look the same. That happened when a splash pigeon joined the flock which had genes dominant to pretty much everything else. Right now I have been concentrating on the redbar and bluebar pigeons since they are getting rare. Luckily, the one young redbar bird is now a mother, her father is also nesting still, and HIS redbar parent I *think* might still be nesting, and they have all been producing chicks capable of carying redbar genes. There are also two huge bluebars that are on chicks right now, and one young bluebar from them that is coming of breeding age. I like the redbars, bluebars, and cinnimons since they tend to be larger also.
I don’t know what I want to do. I like working on my sculptures mostly, but I also love fish, computers, and carpentry. I am in MO actually.
