I think Melody said she layered the green and red to get that dark dark reddish color….so I doubt it would have a lot of red showing in the end…
but I think it would ge neat so see some of the green through the red in like the scale crevices and stuff….hehe

That makes sense! Green is red’s compliment and will make it look darker without flattening it (like black sometimes will).

yeah and I think it looks really cool on there too…
October 1, 2007 at 5:56 pm #622410Thanks GB I like that color. As for the green there is a little bit of it showing on the leg as well.
October 1, 2007 at 6:12 pm #622411I like it with a little green, and I don’t normally like the red/green combo stuff.
October 1, 2007 at 7:23 pm #622412….I have to admit…I HATE this color! 😳 Which is good if is goes production, because then there can finally be something I won’t want to spend money on!

agree tho no red eyes on red dragons …

maybe orange ones tooOctober 1, 2007 at 8:46 pm #622414Like it…except for the green…
October 1, 2007 at 8:52 pm #622415I’m sure when it’s done, done and in a state to really show everyone will be like….”I want one”
lol
😈October 1, 2007 at 9:12 pm #622416I want one now!!! 😆
October 1, 2007 at 9:19 pm #622417IMO… I think orange eyes would look perfect on this color dragon. I’ve said it before that I don’t like red eyes on redish colored dragons, and it would be a nice change to see another color eye used on them. If Melody uses red eyes for this color dragon though… I could live with it. They are bright and show up nice against the dark burgundy.

I can’t see Melody letting the final product go out like that. Actually… it kinda looks like he might have been green before, and just got a new color over top.
I was wondering about the green jaw also
October 2, 2007 at 2:51 am #622419I don’t like the green chin or the red eyes. Yellow/straw eyes would be better. Otherwise I like it.
October 2, 2007 at 4:38 am #622420I like the green, and on the OW it looks STUNNING, but I wonder how it will look on other pieces?
October 2, 2007 at 4:39 am #622421The colors are beautiful. I don’t like the red eyes with it though. Either way, I’d be saying “I want one” 😀
