I like Dream Keeper but would that be a problem with Disney? In Epcot (the Imagination building with Figment the purple dragon) there was a guy whose name was Dream Keeper.
Yeah, that is another thought, don’t want to step on Disney’s very rich sensitive toes.
then how about keeper of dreams?
January 6, 2007 at 1:08 am #523892I still like Finder Keeper. It’s just a cute play on words, and he could be hanging onto something for you so you don’t have to go look for it, like keys.
Hmm… Key KeeperFinder Keeper
Key Keeper
Wish Keeper
Treasure KeeperI like all those.
January 6, 2007 at 1:10 am #523893Why not PYO keeper dragon?
Then we can make it whatever keeper we want.

I tried that and it did’t work!:p

January 6, 2007 at 3:44 am #523896Melody, try copying the URL then typing in the tags infront and behind…. See if that works for you. 😀
January 6, 2007 at 4:13 am #523897Dream Guardian, perhaps…
January 6, 2007 at 4:46 am #523898Keeper of Dreams would inadvertently be shortened to KOD and he’d be a misspelled fish.

January 7, 2007 at 5:35 am #523902I’m liking Finder Keeper, even though I think to fit that he should have more of a smirk on his face.

I love “bee keeper” but that makes, like , no sense at all.
Who WANTS to make sense?! CERTAINLY NOT ME!! 😉
OK, if it doesn’t have to be a Keeper, make him Bee Grabber! Bee Snatcher? :3
January 7, 2007 at 5:05 pm #523904Hmmm… I may be alone in this, but I’m not sure naming him is such a good idea? It sets him apart from all the other PYOs. If you don’t want to go with Large PYO Dragon in case you do a larger one later on, why don’t you just call him Medium PYO Dragon? That way “large” is still available for future use, or if you start really getting into the PYO line and do several more, you could always go with names that refer to position, for example: Lying Down PYO Dragon, Sitting PYO Dragon, Paw-Up PYO Dragon, Curled PYO Griffin, and so on.
I like the name you’ve chosen for all the production items, but somehow, I feel that naming the PYOs would, in a way, restrain the way we see them by giving them a pre-determined feel. Because, in my mind, when you name something you assign certain qualities and expectations to it.
Am I making any sense?
January 7, 2007 at 5:36 pm #523905littleironhorse — perfect sense. You have a very good point there. He could also be the Paw Up PYO Dragon, then his size wouldn’t matter.
