Medical problems and Commissions (please read if you are expecting a commission from me!)

Hi Guys,

I wanted to drop a quick note for anyone who I owe a commission to – and to anyone else wondering where the heck I’ve been lately!

I recently have been struggling with a medical issue that has been making me extremely tired and somewhat incapable of sitting for long periods of time. By extremely tired, this is what I mean – I got 8 hours of sleep last night, as well as took 2 naps about an hour and a half each, and I am still nodding off while typing this. It makes me very weak and I often need to use the bathroom. This makes it increasingly difficult to work as well as spend any length of time painting on commissions.

In any case, I am begging you all for your patience in this – I WILL complete all of your commissions! I just need time for the doctors to figure out exactly what is plaguing me, and for me to get back on my feet.

You guys have always been amazing and so patient and kind so I am sure this won’t be an issue for anyone, but I wanted to let people know that I have not dropped off the face of the earth – I’m still here, I’m just probably sleeping XD Please don’t be offended if you PM me and I don’t get back to you for a while – I am not ignoring you! I just may be sleeping 🙂

I hope that the doctors can find out what is causing you all the issues. Thoughts are with you Hannah and get better soon. Rest all you need and I am sure that everyone will completely understand. ***HUGGS*** 🙂

I’ve been running into that too. For about 4 years now, but it’s isn’t consistant, one week I’ll be fine, the next week I’ll sleep through the night, like you say, wake up and be up for about 3 hours, and then feel so knocked out tired, some times naping up to 4 hours in a very solid sleep. It’s really…strange. I’m not sure if it is related, but let me know if they find something that is causing your over tiredness. 🙁 I hope it’s solvable and nothing big.

Koishii – I will let you know if they find anything. They are currently doing tests on my thyroid to see if it is over/under active (both run in my family so it wont be a huge surprise if it's one of those). I'm really hoping that it IS my thyroid, just because then the issue would be solved 🙁

Hmm, I know they did some endocryne labs on me for my stomach, but they were just basic. Did this just start happening out of the blue? Like everything was fine for years before and then all the sudden it was like something changed over night?

That’s how it was for me pretty much, I don’t remember dealing with such extreme tiredness before, and one year, it was like I couldn’t get enough sleep. It’s a little better now, but I am still getting some weeks where I’m passed out for hours at a time during the day.

I hadn’t though much of it, because there was more important things happening the time that were more serious, but I might bring this up to my doctor.

I don’t think they have – my guess is that my symptoms don’t quite match up. I have more symptoms than just not being able to stay awake properly, I just didn’t want to get into them ’cause medical stuff grosses ME out, and its happening to me! I cant imagine reading it from someone else XD

Koi – it did happen completely out of the blue. I was totally fine until a couple months ago when this started plaguing me. The tiredness has gradually gotten worse though, and eventually I had no choice but to go in and get it checked out when I started becoming dizzy and weak on top of just being tired :/
