So there’s this website I’m on called “tribe” that’s a kind of networking website, you join groups that share your interests, meet people, and in this case sell stuff, as tribe is more of a business networking thing than a social one, though it’s that too.
Anyhow, I’m on a HUGE crafting group there, more than 5,000 members, a lot of chatter, quite fun, and since they’re people that tend to appreciate the value of hand made art, I figured maybe I’d get some PYO commissions if I advertised there.
So I posted an advertisement (which you post differently than just posting a discussion, they have a separate area and separate format for it, to spare people who don’t want to see ads.) And it glitched! It ate my ad! TWICE! I can’t post an advertisement there, and now I’m just pissed off. Stupid buggy thing! I’ve reported the bug, so hopefully I’ll be able to do something about it, but I’m just annoyed. I want to do more PYOs, darn it! And I can’t afford to keep doing them as gifts anymore, so if I’m going to do them, I need commissions. And the market here on the forum, and on ebay, is pretty saturated with really good artists, so I figured this other place would be perfect… except not!
*mutter, growl, gripe*
