You remember algebra, star? I distinctly remember forgetting every scrap of algebra I grudgingly stuffed into my head in preparation for tests. I forgot it the day I handed the finals in, and I believe I flunked those tests, but passed the finals. I’m a loser when it comes to math.

I graduated college 20+ years ago, but I still have the occasional nightmare that I failed Calculus and didn’t graduate. 😮 I promptly forgot all of it, too, GB. 😀

I wish you luck, Ski. Hopefully you will enjoy Criminal Justice more. I know I would. 8)

I failed algebra in HS, but it was because I wanted to be in the cool ditching in crowd, not because I didnt get it. When I showed up, I did ok. Hopefully I can do ok now… Paul loves math but he is not here anymore. I should have planned better, but I think I would not like him to see me struggle.

My mom will probably move when Paul moves in. It will be too much having both of them here. Me and my mom have a pretty rough history, so I hate having to rely on her like I do, but those are the breaks when you have a 24/7 job. 🙁

I agree it would be a bit much having your mom live with you and Paul. I think you do very well, all things considered. 😉

Wait until you have kids. It’s like going to school all over again. This year was a refresher course in Geometry. Next year, we’ll move on to Algebra II. 🙄

You still have school nightmares too!! 😮 Those are the worst!! In mine, either I’m late to an important class or we have a test and I can’t remember anything!!

I’m so not looking forward to that when Gavin gets that far along in school. I got through Calculus in high school and regretted it because I had a teacher who was bad at explaining things. I hope if Gavin gets that far that hubby can help him with it.

                Yup!!

I don’t even attempt to help my son with his math. My head is empty on that subject! That’s what tutors are for. 😉

I think of the Math thing as a challenge. 😉 Helping him with English was harder. All that diagramming of sentences and separating adverbs from adjectives!!! 😮 Fortunately, he doesn’t need help with that anymore.

Me, I’d rather help a kid in English than in math. But all the homework I help my babysitting charges with is numerical. Figures. 😆

I loved Algebra. Don’t remember much of calculus though. I never use it so I’ve lost it. 😀

Yeah, my Calculus is long gone. I guess I’ll have the opportunity to relearn that too in a few years. 🙄
