On another forum I follow, there is an artist in Australia who saw a niche for well sculpted ‘toy’ figures of native fauna, extinct or extant. He started a company making them, and has been successful. He recently started a thread on that forum showing the creation process of an extinct Aussie megafauna herbivore called a diprotodon. His sculpting technique has been fascinating to follow for me, he really goes anatomically correct. Here is a link to that thread of anyone wants to see it.
