I love the black/peacock Poad(tm). She is very cute… just like all the others. I’m not sure how they can reproduce without different sexes though. And what is the point of laying eggs, if little poadies don’t hatch from them? They really are interesting creatures Melody came up with!

I usually do as well–perhaps because the ‘sockets’ were black instead of white or pink, I didn’t flip out. 😕 But man, I’d have had a heart attack if I’d opened the box and that had been MY Poad™! 😯
😆 😆 😆 Same here! When I make porcelain dolls I have to use a head mould that has the eyes sculpted in and then paint ’em. (can’t bear empty sockets…. 😳 )

Poor Poad it lucky she will get her eyes soon and be able to see. That picture gave me the creeps and Melody’s comment kept me laughing – made my day
When I’m painting Windstones I sometimes stick my fingers in the sockets and wiggle them around…

I just want to make it clear here that I adore Melody’s creative vision and inventing her own mythical creature. When I used the word pathetic, it was out of pity for seeing the poor thing without eyes. It was nurture. The kind of pathetic youd feel when you see a puppy with a broken leg set in a huge cast gimping around. Your heart just goes out. That is how I meant it. Not as a negative.
So, DM, I havent quite crossed over to the dark side of poking a Poad™ 😀 Sorry!

Speaking of eyeless things…I was stripping a PYO dragon for my son when I hosed his eyes down the kitchen sink with the sprayer 😛 …Atleast Susie thought it was funny… 😆 😆 (She said that she’s heard of many differnt places eyes end up, but the sink drain was a new one on her. 😳 )
