Hi Melody,
I was just browsing your other art forum that has some examples of what you have done or are working on.
You have a sketch of a Love Griffin. I really don’t know why (hormones) but this sketch really affected me big time. I love it. You managed to put such personality into both of the figures. You are just amazing!
I was wondering if you planned to ebay this one at all?December 27, 2007 at 8:21 pm #493777December 27, 2007 at 8:35 pm #650302Phoenix wrote:Hi Melody,

No, I don’t plan to ebay that one. It is just a tiny sketch on a very messy page of my sketch book (like most of the pages are). It only looks presentable on Elfwood because I cleaned up the background in photoshop! I am only ebaying nice, clean, neat sketches. It is a challenge! This next one is pretty smudgy, but at least there isn’t any food on it. The only place I have time to draw is in restaurants!December 27, 2007 at 8:39 pm #650303I don’t know….I think some smudges or imperfections give items character and show they are hand made. Maybe this comes from dealing with old hand made glass…I have one blue opalescent bowl that is very lopsided. Others would pass it by, but it’s one of my favorites. 😀

Sun Dragon Koi #3December 27, 2007 at 9:42 pm #650310Oh he is cute! And he just looks so cozy and pleased and relaxed.
I noticed on that page The Capricorn. I gotta tell ya, if you ever plan to do ALL the entire zodiac in sculpture and release them, perhaps just in the store unless you think (which I do) theyd sell in stores well too, then I really, really would love to SQUEAK for those! I would collect EVERY zodiac sign. I LOVE astrology.
Hope that this project is somewhere down on your huge scroll of a list of things to do!

December 27, 2007 at 9:50 pm #650314Oh, I love that. I also really like the Garden Spirit Wolf and the castle. That Garden Wolf would sell well with my customers.
