Is there anyone out there who has been brave enough to do a PYO dragon in red and black. Matte, Metalic, anything. I’m curious to see how they turned out.
April 17, 2010 at 3:35 am #500600April 17, 2010 at 4:04 am #811008I painted one eons ago…But I repainted him too. 😳
I think Serenity has done some that are red and black. I am working on a Fire Keeper Dragon right now, but he’s not just black and red. 😕April 17, 2010 at 4:12 am #811009I did a red/black keeper dragon. But I too repainted him. I might still have pictures of him before I repainted him if you’re interested in seeing them.
April 17, 2010 at 4:13 am #811010Yes please, Leigha! If you have one, I’d love to see it.
April 17, 2010 at 4:17 am #811011Thank you WindstoneCollector… you is right… it is I who has painted red and black and black and red small dragons! And here they are……
Black and Red
Red and Black
Tribal #1
JAZZ (More than red and black but still a fave!)
Black and Red
Tribal #2
April 17, 2010 at 4:25 am #811012Oh Serenity, Those tribals are AMAZING! Red and black were our wedding colors, and I’m thinking of attempting a red and black for my first PYO, but I’m terrified! O.O
April 17, 2010 at 4:32 am #811013Why thank you very much! Red and black is pretty easy (for me) to do, plus I love those two colors together! (Great wedding colors!) Ours was Blue and White and I painted two small dragon PYO’s in those colors. 🙂
Great luck to you painting! (It isn’t too bad and its a LOT of fun once you start and very addictive…fair warning!) :hi:
My “Love Dragons”
added purple to mine to make it more female…. 😉April 17, 2010 at 4:34 am #811014Well, I do oil paintings now(have for over 10 years!), but I can honestly say I’ve never attempted painting on something other than canvas or paper. I think my biggest fear is butchering something as amazing as a Windstone scultpure… 😮
April 17, 2010 at 4:38 am #811015Buy a muse first if you want… it has all the textures you’ll cross painting any of the PYO’s. You can practice on those, I think a lot of people do… plus they are cute… remind me of a hippy owl! LOL
April 17, 2010 at 4:40 am #811016Your Love dragons are lovely, as well. 🙂 I can only HOPE to one day be as good as you.
April 17, 2010 at 4:45 am #811017Thank you! There are others on this forum that kick my butt in painting PYO’s lol But since we are all different in painting… no two come out looking alike! 😉
I have no worries for you. Not sure though on Oils on the gymsum… acylics is the medium that is most used…
April 17, 2010 at 5:22 am #811018I might have missed it mentioned, but Arlla did one as well. And probably others not mentioned too, but my memory isn’t the best.
Anyways, nice dragons 🙂
April 17, 2010 at 6:10 am #811019I’ve done several different red and black, black and red.. all kinds of combinations..
I’ve got pictures all over.. prolly the easiest way to see them is just look through my photobucket though
April 17, 2010 at 6:12 am #811020heres a link to Arlla’s…
