I’ve mounted real horns, or rather antlers, on a mask before. It’s a bit of work, but not too hard.

That’s pretty cool, I think I’ve seen the red version before or maybe it was black. But yeah, floppiness is definitely a problem, not sure how you could correct that besides filling some of it with a solid foam or something that can be spread or poured and then hardened.
