      This is Really Cool!
Berry College, a Liberal Arts College located in Floyd County, Georgia, USA, has an Eagle Nest webcam that is 24/7…. you can watch the Bald Eagle parents raise their young!

An egg was produced on January 14, 2014, followed by a second egg on January 17. An eaglet chick hatched on Saturday, February 22, from one of the two eggs laid in January. The other egg has not hatched, so I don’t know if it is viable – probably not at this point.

      Take a look!

If you haven’t looked lately, the baby Eaglet is now almost as big as MaMa, and the brown feathers are coming in. 🙂
The baby still has some downy feathers under its wings and on its belly, but it’s looking more and more like an eagle every day!

It doesn’t look like it ever hatched, so it was probably pushed out of the nest by the chick or one of the adult eagles a couple weeks ago.

This is so neat! I suppose they put the camera up in the winter before the eagles returned so that they wouldn’t notice it or be disturbed.

Yes, I believe the ‘EagleCam’ was put up over a year ago or so… I believe there is some history about it written on the College’s web page. It is really cool – take a look at nighttime – the Cam has a ‘Night Vision’ mode! 🙂
