Nevermind! Gotta pay the bills instead! :p
September 16, 2011 at 1:42 am #856678Check out eBay, I think there may be a black and gold fledgling on there!
September 16, 2011 at 1:47 am #856679There was and I enquired about it, but the shipping was very high so I passed.
Thanks though! 🙂
September 16, 2011 at 2:01 am #856680The websites for both Emerald’s Emporium and Astral Castle say that they have the Black Gold Fledgling in stock.
September 16, 2011 at 11:19 am #856705No, worries 🙂 I will keep an eye out for the things on your list! The shipping is going to high but sometimes it will be worth it, I have learned that anyway, good luck 🙂

Well, at least he stayed in the family *whistles innocently*
Armiks has black gold fledglings. If they wont ship to Canada (which Im pretty sure they will) I could always order you one and ship it to you. Shipping shouldnt be much-probably less than $10USD
September 16, 2011 at 1:59 pm #856720Shipping to me is always an issue. If the seller insists on tracking, which I can understand, it’s never under $20-$25 for the small pieces (baby uni, baby kirin) and will easily climb to $30-$40 and over.
If a seller is willing to take a chance on first class international shipping (no tracking), that’s much more affordable. In fact, I only ever use this option with Windstone and I have never had a package get lost, from Windstone or any one else.
As for the BG Fledgling, I already have one lined up, so he’ll be getting off the list as soon as all the details are finalized.
But thank you all for your helpfulness, it’s very much appreciated! 🙂
September 16, 2011 at 3:01 pm #856724LIH, with ebay purchases, it often helps to mention if you are a forum member. Sometimes the seller is too, and they are willing to bend their rules a little. Personally, I trust folks on here rather than a random person on ebay.
November 16, 2011 at 12:09 am #862627Updated, please see first post 🙂
November 16, 2011 at 11:31 pm #862742Redfires were made with red eyes? I thought they were ruby.
I’m thinking of all the “ruby” I’ve passed up without looking closer 🙁November 17, 2011 at 12:05 am #862746Redfires were made with red eyes? I thought they were ruby.
I’m thinking of all the “ruby” I’ve passed up without looking closer 🙁It was a production mistake.
There have been reports of the Male, Mother, Young and Hatchling having escaped with the wrong eyes, but I don’t know for sure about the other sculpts, so I just put them on my list on the off chance…
Which reminds me I need to update again! Forgot about the emeralds with orange eyes!
Truth be told, I’d rather get the colors that I don’t already have rather than those with alternate eye color, but you never know…
November 22, 2011 at 11:46 pm #863370Yay! I just won a Gold Fledgling on ebay! 🙂
Super bad timing financially, but I just couldn’t pass it up!
And it came so close to my limit early on in the bidding, I was sure someone was going to snipe it from under me!November 23, 2011 at 1:43 am #863422Grrr! I’m jealous, but congrats. Where was it listed, because I didn’t see it.
November 23, 2011 at 1:57 am #863423Really? That’s strange, it was on ebay.ca, but also showed up on ebay.com because that’s where I do all my searches, and it came up with just a regular “windstone” search…
Although since the seller was in Canada, if you don’t select “Location: Worldwide” when you do your searches, it wouldn’t have showed up.
November 23, 2011 at 5:43 am #863482My search did not have it either but I have just Windstoneeditions as seller or “Windstone dragon” and since dragon was not listed from the private seller it did not come up. It is all in how your search is set up and ho wmany items you wish to sift through in case someone does not list it specifically as what it is. Someone else here managed to get a dragon cheap like you did when the seller left out the work “Windstone”. Now that was luck to find a Windstone dragon among all those listed.
Congrats on a good find at such a low price. (yes I would have paid more for it if I had known it was up.) -
