A cistern is a place inside a house where ground water gathers, like a well. It’s used before plumbing was put into houses to run water for bathing or cleaning dishes, etc. The people would go down to the basement and get a bucket of water. They’d boil it to sterilize it (if they were cooking with it) and then use it. Ours has been filled in with concrete and it’s now a round room that we use for storage.
Isn’t that a Candle-Light lighthouse on there? I have one and I swear my Stepmom got it from there… 8) Lighthouses and palm trees…I have a good sized Bird of Paradise palm in my bedroom…And a 6 foot Draceana ti plant in my living room, but it may have to move…I need more space for the “New 10” 😀 I think another bookcase is for sure needed…Plus I ran across 3 boxes of books while I cleaned out my storage unit… 😯 And my Polar bears are tired of being in their boxes in my closet…they’d like to come out and join all the rest of clan…
It is a PartyLite lighthouse. Is that what you meant, WSC? I’m also getting the Mariner’s Watchtower for in there too.
