I just wanted to give you a heads up on my schedule for the next week or so. I put this in the Flea Market section for a reason, and I will get to it. I promise.
Since I am leaving Tuesday for the long drive to GenCon, I’m going to be running around like a chicken with its head cut off for the next two days (that’s an old saying… hope it doesn’t gross anyone out… that’s an old saying too :)). I will check my email and PMs a couple times during the next two days, but may not be able to read threads.
Tuesday, I will be driving all day. Wednesday, I will be driving, then setting up my booth, then checking into the hotel, then attending some events… you get the picture. Thursday through Sunday, I will have internet access during the day at the convention, but may be too busy to be on much (I hope, I hope). The best way to make sure I get a message is to email or PM me. Next Monday I will be driving all day. And home next Tuesday (and probably be exhausted).
If you want to buy something from me or want to pay off a layaway with me and need a new invoice (this is why I put this in Flea Market)… I can still send invoices and collect your payments, but cannot send out items until after I get back. If it’s a fairly new layaway, I may not have your item in stock (if I sell the one I bought for convention at convention) and will have to order it for you once I come back. If I still have that item when I return, no problem.
I hope this is all okay with everyone who recently put things on layaway with me (within the last month). I took on a big debt to stock up for this convention, and I couldn’t afford to buy more for layaways since I don’t know if I’m going to sell the ones I got for convention at convention, but also didn’t want to short myself for GenCon. I’m not an expert at this stock management thing yet (especially with this big convention involved for the first time), so I hope everyone is patient with me as I try to figure this all out. Just rest assured that you will get the item you pay for, but it may be a week later than normal.
Sorry for the book. π

August 22, 2007 at 1:03 am #607485I’m back! I wrote a really long message this morning, and I guess it didn’t get posted. π So instead I’ll summarize.
We had a lot of fun, but we were busy all the time. We sold a few Windstones and a lot of Elevation Indicators (however, not as many as we’d hoped). We did not sell out. We wished we had more time to play some of the games there, but we were pretty much stuck at the exhibition table.
There were some famous people there, and I did get away long enough to get a few autographs: Lani Tupu (again, from Farscape… he said he remembered me from when I met him in Fargo), Mark Sheppard (from Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, and Medium), W. Morgan Sheppard (from Star Trek VI, and other shows), Raelee Hill (from Farscape), Hayden Panitierre (from Heroes).
Tired now. Must eat. Take nap soon. π
