Lavender or Pale Aquarmine – Silver Eyes

I may be in the minority here, but I love, love, looooove the pale blue eyes on the current production of Silvers. LOVE those eyes. In fact, it was the striking combo of those pale eyes and the dark/light shading of the silver that convinced me to break from my strictly Black Gold shell and purchase silver.

Then I saw the mention of lavender eyes in the Announcements section, and I hope that doesn’t happen. The pale Aquamarine is exquisite with the silver. And in fact, if any dragon’s eyes should be lavender, those eyes would be for the Black Gold, IMO. Pale purple eyes on the BGs with their amethyst jewel and purple facial accents would be gorgeous.

And so the debate rages on… 😉 LOL…

I am waiting for a silver dragon with lavender eyes, too. I would love a BG with different colored eyes, as well. Hope springs eternal…. 😉 😆

I prefer the light blue over the lavender. But, I still think that the medium blue eyes would have been better in the silver royal hatchers. I can understand that Melody wants them to match the other silvers though.

I like both eyes in the curls. But, I find the light blue is too light in the other sculpts that I have seen. (Only the lap in person). I voted for lavender because of this.

If Melody does use lavender eyes, I bet she’ll do some of both like she did with the curls. 😉

LOL – Could you imagine if Windstone did do a batch of Black Golds with Lavender eyes? My family would never eat again? My Windstone obsession frightens me as it is… add another group of Black Golds to collect, and it’ll terrify me! LOL!

If that did happpen….that would be awsome….currently I don’t own any Black Golds but I would for sure get one with lavender eyes…..
I WOULD LOVE OT GET A BLACK GOLD EMPEROR WITH LAVENDER EYES… :squeak:

I like both colors, but I prefer the blue. :3

I prefer the blue, but that’s mostly because the lavender is too close to gray itself when you pair it with the silver-gray dragon. Or at least, it seems that way to me in the photos; admittedly, I’ve only seen the blue-eyed Silvers in person. I wouldn’t mind a darker blue eye on the Silvers, either. 🙂

For once, the pale blue really fits best. But black gold with lavender would be absolutely perfect.
