Another request: I would really appreciate if one of you who has both the peacock fledgling and some members of the original peacock family (mother, male, young or emperor) could post a picture of the 2 together so that mmloda can see the difference in old and new peacock…

I’m not sure if this picture helps or not…
I don’t quite understand the new vs old peacock. These peacocks are sitting in the order I bought them in. The scratcher was bought about 12 years ago. I had the emperor ordered in last August 06. And the old warrior was ordered in and bought January 07.
The scratcher and the old warrior have the same colourings. So, I don’t understand, if there is old and new peacock, how is it that the old warrior bought recently is in the old peacock colours. Or was it just certain scuplts (like emperor and scratching and lap) were one type of peacock and other sculps (family) the other peacock. And now I’m confused by my own writing 😕 .
Help.
And, wondering, what does everyone prefer, the light peacock (emperor) or the dark / bright peacock (scratcher and warrior)?

however, i have seen some variance in the fledgie paint job… mine is super blue green with very little purple, and almost none on the chest, but recently i saw a fledge on ebay that had tons of that dusty purple on the chest, like the empress and emperor hatchers! weird! so there is variance, perhaps that was what someone was originally referring to?[/img]emerald212 wrote:Greater Basilisk wrote:Thanks for doing that, LIH. my pleasure! they compare great togther! by the way, the young dragon is a fresh one, just bought nib, so he has a fresh paint job.. i wonder how much that piece varies, old to new? heck if i threw the empress it then it would get crazy with all the dusty purple! lol, its funny how there is so much variance in the peacock color.but they all look great as they are. it would be cool though to see the male and mother dragons in the new peacock like the fledge- that would be pretty snazzy, but i think thats what we need the new emp.pea for! lol!
Tell you what, tf, peacock can vary from being mostly purple to having none. My peacock fledge (at Wolfen’s) has practically no purple on him.
