LAST CHANCE: Montreal Area Store Liquidation

Completely by accident, I found a store that used to carry Windstones but they are getting rid of them and will no longer carry the line. So they’re selling everything they have at 40% off. Of course, you still have to add the tax, but it’s still a fair bargain.

For those who are close by and want to go have a look, it’s a petshop called Animal Expert at Promenades Saint-Bruno, 640 boul. des Promenades, Saint-Bruno, Québec, J3V-6L9, 450-441-7344, 1-866-441-7344.

Several of the pieces had some damage and as far as the salesgirl knew, they didn’t have any of the original boxes.

I made a list with approximate price, after 40% off, with taxes added, in CAN$ and in US$. I MAY be able to pick up some pieces for you guys, but that’s a big MAYBE, because the store is quite a bit out of my way. But if you’re interested do call the store, or ask me and I’ll see what I can do.

Thanks, I found them totally by accident. I can never resist going into a petshop, imagine my surprise finding Windstones there 😯

I was a little bit disapointed that I didn’t find a single item for myself (I only collect dragons, already have a peacock fledgling and I’m not too fond of the hatchers) but on the other hand, this is really not a good time for me to be spending money, so it’s just as well.

Yes, that was very nice of you to do that: -) IF you get enough interest and you decide to take a trip, I would like a Frog Prince. In addition to paying for shipping and insurance, I would be glad to give you a few extra bucks for your trouble. If not, no worries!

Anyone who’s interested, post here and I’ll start making a list. It’s not that I don’t want to go, it’s not even that it’s fairly far away, it’s just that the cost of fuel is over the top right now.

So if I get enough takers, I’ll spread the cost among everyone so it would be something like maybe 2 extra dollars per person.

In the meantime, I’ll call the store and ask them to set aside those pieces that have been requested.

BTW, since they don’t have ANY of the original boxes, I would strongly suggest insurance. If you choose to not insure, it will be at your own risk. Although I will be certain to pack VERY carefully.

Both mint frog princes have been claimed.

IMPORTANT: One last thing… I will be happy to help fellow forum members 😀 and will not be trying to make any money off these Windstones… But, I don’t want to incur any expense while doing this either, so when I do have your items, I will calculate the total as follows:

Purchase price + Shipping + Insurance + Paypal Fees + maybe S2 for fuel

I have access to plenty of boxes, bubble wrap and packing peanuts so there will be no extra charge for that.

I’m not trying to scare anyone away, but I do want potential buyers to be aware of every detail. 😉

I was just wondering what you meant by Fledgling (new lighter Peacock), how light is it? would it go with the peacock dragon family? or is the color really off?

mmloda, I’ll try to find a picture for you tomorrow. It does match the peacock family, but the blue is lighter and it has a bit of emerald. In fact if you have a peacock spectral dragon or lap dragon, those are the ones he matches best.
