Pegasus PYO! :squeak:
July 7, 2008 at 1:09 am #720844I’m game for just about anything besides a muse. I just can’t get used to the odd eyed thing, unfortunately. π I’d love to see the phoenix, too. I’ve always had a thing for them. I even painted one of those on my bedroom wall when I was a kid. I actually had a whole slew of mythical creatures on that wall; from the phoenix to a manticore. And they were all done in flourescent (sp) paints so they’d glow under a black light…there I go, dating myself again….. π Bet my mom must’ve loved that. π Thankfully, since she’s the one I got the art talent from, she never batted an eye over that. But she sure painted over things PDQ when I moved out. π
July 7, 2008 at 1:23 am #720845The bigger pieces do get very hard to hand-paint due to weight and shape. I’ve nearly busted my hand/wrist trying to do some of the larger production pieces! The smaller ones, around PYO griffin size, are the most relaxing to work on.

My art: featherdust.comJuly 7, 2008 at 6:05 am #720846Just started with my first Griffin and it’s amazing the amount of surface area even he has. Griffin/Kirin size appears to be perfect on average for a nice challenge.
But while that size is a very practical (and pleasant) standard, I’d welcome the occasional variant, large or small with extremely open arms. π
July 7, 2008 at 6:08 am #720847I’d paint any Windstone PYO, no matter the size. But when you get to the shipping part, I have to say they’re all perfect size and weight to not cost too much. π
July 7, 2008 at 5:53 pm #720848I think for me me the ‘perfect’ sized PYO is the griffin. I love the Keeper PYO, but I found his size a little cumbersome, but I like a challange π . This is by no means a complaint, for the personal reward of finishing my Keeper was great and just made me want to paint more! PYOs are quite addictive for me. As soon as I get one finished I have about ten other ‘ideas’ for more PYOs. I’m squeaking BIG TIME for a PYO hippogriff, I don’t care how big she is!! Melody, If the shipping was cheap and somehow gypsum weighed ALOT less, I’d paint a ‘full sized’ Hippogriff π ! I also ditto that for the PYO Flap Cats π .

Would absolutely adore you if you made it PYO!!!! Not that I don’t adore you already, but YES PLEASE!July 7, 2008 at 7:00 pm #720850A hippogriff would be really great to paint, but I would equally love it in production! The best of both worlds would be a PYO and give Jennifer and Arlla bunches to paint us for ebay π

That sounds fabulous! π
July 7, 2008 at 8:16 pm #720852I would love to try and paint something on the larger scale. I had fun with the pyo keeper and would love to see a pyo dragon about the size of an old warrior or emperor.
