Will there ever be PYO’s that are larger than the current sculpts offered? I’ve tried my hand at the griffins and a kirin (I just started this last week…) and I feel kinda the same way when I finish one as I do when I finish eating a lobster–that was good, but more, please! π π
Plus I seem to have issues with the smaller details. Of course, that could just be my lousy eyesight, too. π But I would kill for a chance to do a larger griffin! πJuly 6, 2008 at 2:18 am #496063July 6, 2008 at 4:41 am #720830I’m hoping for the Phoenix Melody was working on a while back, but mostly I’m waiting for a flap cat!

July 6, 2008 at 2:31 pm #720832I think the keeper PYO dragon is about the perfect size on the large end of the spectrum. As they get bigger it feels more and more like painting a mural.. (gack) π

My art: featherdust.comJuly 6, 2008 at 2:46 pm #720833I liked the size of the keeper. I wouldn’t mind more bigger pieces too. Heck, let’s face it, I’ll get any and all of the PYOs that come out π
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

July 6, 2008 at 8:15 pm #720835Hmmm…haven’t done ANY dragons–yet. π I plan on trying them once the store is back up and running. I’ve mostly completed my first kirin, and I like them. π

So far, all the pyos in the works are smaller than the male dragon. The hippogriff is as large as the female griffin, if I decide to do her as a pyo she will be pretty big. The winged bookends are pretty substantial too, if we do those. Much bigger than that and they get difficult to handle, but I’ll do whatever you guys want!July 6, 2008 at 9:25 pm #720837Melody, thank you so much for listening!

http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmJuly 6, 2008 at 11:03 pm #720838I wouldn’t mind larger stuff, or at least stuff without stupidly small hard to get to crevasses. Probably the reason my first dragon didn’t go well, my paintbrush just didn’t fit.
And anyway, it’s just not as satisfying when you can finish a PYO in one day. The thought is, well… now what?
July 6, 2008 at 11:50 pm #720839Variety is good. I like medium stuff, myself. I think griffins are just about right! Muses seem small, and the large dragon is big!
I know somebody who just likes muses.
So an assortment of sizes is good, I think.

July 7, 2008 at 12:30 am #720841I like the sizes of the PYOs that are out, but! I think a couple of larger pieces would be fun. =) Jen is right, any bigger, and it could be like painting a mural. XD Which is fun, but only occasionally (to me, anyways). I really really want the bookends! <3 And the phoenix. XD I'm not sure how big that one is, though?
I guess the PYO flapcats will be somewhere between the small production ones and the large production ones in size, eh? That would be a good-sized PYO, anyways!
July 7, 2008 at 12:38 am #720842I would love a larger unicorn or even a pegasus to paint. π
