Large Bird-Winged Tuxedo Flap Cat with Black Sunset Wings

Hi,

I’m a cat collector and not knowledgeable in all things Windstone like the rest of you. I’m buying the Cat Wizard (thanks Sasha!) and now I have my eye on the Large Bird-Winged Tuxedo Flap Cat with Black Sunset Wings. Is this piece hard to find? If one comes up for auction on ebay what would be a fair price to pay for one in mint condition?

Welcome to our crazy little world on the web, 5hairycats! 🙂 The Tuxedo cat with sunset wings is a limited production piece, meaning it is only avaliable from Windstone direct, in small batches from time to time, and of course second hand from collectors who wish to sell. He comes up for sale every now and then. I have seen the one with the moustache more often than the one without (still wanting the one without for my own collection). He retailed from Windstone for $180, but since he is sold out in the store right now, personally I’d say $200-$240 is a fair price. $200 would cover shipping from Windstone to someone else+the cat, so if someone sold him for $200, they would just be getting their money back, not making a profit. Some people are okay with this, so $200 is a place to start. Any less than that is a pretty good deal.

Windstone will eventually restock the tuxedo cat-a little quicker if more of us bug Melody for more 😉
So it just depends on if you want to wait and get one for store price from Windstone or if you want one sooner and can find one second hand.
